Creating a watchlist (mobile)

A watchlist is a list of instruments you are trading in or have an interest in trading in. You can create any number of watchlists.

The Pepperstone app and Webtrader are synchronised, so a watchlist created in the app will automatically appear in Webtrader, and vice versa.

Tip: As well as personal watchlists that you create yourself, the app provides a number of public watchlists. These are created by Pepperstone and include a range of currently popular and trending products. Watchlists you create yourself are listed in the app as My watchlists; watchlists created by Pepperstone are listed as Public watchlists. Public watchlists are accessible by all users of the app. You can initiate a trade by selecting an instrument from either a personal or public watchlist (as well as from the instruments shown on the various Markets pages).

To create a personal watchlist:

1. Tap Watchlists at the bottom of the screen.

If Watchlists is not visible, either tap < or close any secondary window.

If the Watchlists screen is not visible, tap < .

2. Tap + at the top right of the screen. The Create new watchlist screen appears:

3. Tap in the Name field and enter a name for the new watchlist.

4. Tap Create watchlist.

5. You can leave the watchlist empty at this stage, or you can add symbols to it. To add one or more symbols:

a. Tap Add symbols.

b. Tap + beside each symbol you want to add.

c. Click Done at the top left of the screen. The new watchlist appears, listing each symbol you chose.
