'Demon' determined to continue rise after breaking into the Top 10 of the Pepperstone ATP Rankings

Pepperstone’s Global Ambassador and Australia’s highest-ranked player Alex de Minaur says he is keen to continue climbing further up the Pepperstone ATP Rankings, signalling he will not stop at his new career-high of 10 in the world.
de Minaur has broken into the Top 10 of the Pepperstone ATP Rankings after spectacular victories against world number one Novak Djokovic and world number six Alexander Zverev. The ‘Demon’ says he is hoping that a deep run at the upcoming Australian Open can propel him further up the Rankings.
“Being in the Top 10 of the Pepperstone ATP Rankings has always been a goal of mine and I’m determined to continue winning as much as improving my ranking. Breaking into the top 10 in front of a home crowd was an extremely special moment and one that I’ll cherish forever,” said de Minaur.
“This ranking isn’t just a reflection of personal success – it’s also a reward for the great team of people I have around me who have supported me on this journey, including Pepperstone,” he added.
de Minaur becomes the first Australian men’s player to break into the Top 10 of the Pepperstone ATP Rankings since Llleyton Hewitt in 2006.
“I’ve always looked up to Lleyton and I’m lucky to now be able to call him a friend and a mentor – he’s definitely played an important part in my improvement and rise up the rankings,” said de Minaur.
Pepperstone CEO Tamas Szabo said, “Alex de Minaur is an Australian sensation and a perfect partner to Pepperstone, and we’re excited to see what he can do at his home slam.” The official Top 10 of the Pepperstone ATP Rankings heading into this week’s Australian Open is:
