Viewing your trading journal (Webtrader)

Your trading journal lists each position: open and closed. For each closed position, profit or loss information is provided.

Note: In this procedure, the word ‘click’ refers to either a click or a tap.

To display your trading journal, click Portfolio on the main menu bar and select Trading Journal from the menu that appears:

To filter the journal by period, click to the right of Time Range and specify the period of interest.

There are five predefined tags you can assign to a transaction: News, Impulse, Strategy, Market Event and Error. To assign a tag (or to change the tags already assigned to a transaction), click in the Tags column to the right of the transaction and select the tag from the menu that appears. (You can assign more than one tag to a transaction.) One or more coloured dots appear in the Tags column to indicate that one or more tags have been assigned. The legend in the title bar of the Trading Journal panel indicates the significance of each coloured dot.
