After opening a Pepperstone account, you will need to create a live trading account to begin trading, or a demo account to begin a trial.Note that a Pepperstone account is temporary at first, pending a manual assessment of your application (including verification of the documentation you provide).Note: In this procedure, the word ‘click’ refers to either a click or a tap.1. Go to the Pepperstone home page.2. Click Join now near the top right of the page. If you are an existing client you can create any number of live accounts. To become a client you must follow the application processNote: In this procedure, the word ‘click’ refers to either a click or a tap.1. Either sign into your Pepperstone account or, if Webtrader is already open, click menu at the top right of the window and select My Account from the menu that appears.2. With My Account window open, click LIVE.3. Click REQUEST AN ACCOUNT. The Request New Account window appears.4. Select Pepperstone from the Platform menu.5. Enter or select other data if required.6. Click Submit.7. On the confirmation window that appears, click Continue to Webtrader.

Creating a live account (Webtrader)

Having a demo account is a good way to trial Webtrader. Each demo account is fully featured.You are able to create five demo accounts if you are using Standard, and ten if you are using Razor.A demo account expires automatically after 30 days unless you have a live funded account and have requested Pepperstone to set it so that it doesn’t expire.Note: In this procedure, the word ‘click’ refers to either a click or a tap.1. Click menu icon at the top right of the window and select My account from the menu that appears.2. On the Secure Client Area window, click or tap DEMO.3. Click or tap REQUEST AN ACCOUNT. Creating a demo account (Webtrader)

The Pepperstone app and Webtrader are synchronised, so a trade partially closed in Webtrader will automatically be partially closed in the app, and vice versa.Note: In this procedure, the word ‘click’ refers to either a click or a tap.1. If One-click trading is enabled, disable it.2. Click or tap Positions on the main menu bar. Enter the number of lots you want to close in the Lots to Close field.! The value in the Lots to Close field when the Close Position window opens is the order’s total number of lots. If you don’t override this value with a smaller number, the order is fully closed if you proceed.5. Click Close Position.

Partially closing a position (Webtrader)

Personal watchlists and charts have a search field at the right of their title. Searching for an instrument (Webtrader)
