Changing Your Trading Account Leverage

Changing your trading account leverage is a powerful tool and one that may need to be changed from time to time based on your trading strategy. Changes in your account leverage affect the amount of margin you are required to post for a given trade size. In order to change ones leverage on their trading account, they can do so via the secure client area. Changing your trading account leverage between 1:1 and 500:1 is a quick and easy process, and the change is usually applied within one business day.

Once logged in, click on the small cog symbol under the Settings column for the account you wish change the leverage. Then click the option "Change Leverage on Account".

This will take you to the leverage change request form where you can select the account in which the request is for as well as the desired leverage.

Once the request has been completed, the support team will receive your leverage change request and action the change.

Once it has been completed, you will be sent an email to your registered address to let you know your new leverage. You will then be able to use your trading account leverage as requested.

Please note that changing the trading account leverage is not an instant process and will take time to be actioned.
