CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 81.7% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.

Placing a trade (mobile)

The Pepperstone app and Webtrader are synchronised, so a trade initiated in the app will automatically appear in Webtrader, and vice versa.

The way you submit a trade depends on whether you are using the standard multi-step approach or One-click trading. Note that One-click trading can only execute at-market trades.

Method 1: Standard multi-step approach

1. Display the instrument you want to buy or sell.

You can select the instrument from a Markets page, a watchlist you have created or a public watchlist.

2. Tap on the Sell or Buy button at the bottom of the screen. The trading screen appears.
