Refer a friend- Terms and conditions

Introduction

As a Professional Client of Pepperstone EU Limited (the “Company”), you can earn extra rewards when you refer a friend to the Company. When your friend deposits and trades, you can receive a cash reward on your account, subject to the following terms and conditions (“Offer Terms”): 

In these Offer Terms: 

“Cash reward” means the amount payable to you. 

“Friend” means an individual or company who is referred by you and who did not previously have a Pepperstone account.

“Offer” means this Refer a Friend Offer, which is offered to you as a Professional Client under these Offer Terms. 

We” “us” or “our” means Pepperstone EU Limited, Company Number ΗΕ 398429 | Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission Licence (CySEC) Number 388/20, Registered office: Arch. Makariou ΙΙΙ, 195, Neocleous House, 3030, Limassol, Cyprus. 

“You” “your” or “yours” means you, if you meet the criteria of an Eligible Client under these Offer Terms.  

1. The Reward

1. You must comply with these Offer Terms; and
2. Your Friend must open a Standard or Razor account with Pepperstone and provide your name or email address where indicated in their account application or to your Account Manager.
3. The cash reward is calculated on spreads and commissions paid by your friend over the first three (3) months of trading, starting after the 1st trade date.
4. Your reward is paid and calculated as below:

5. You can refer up to a maximum of 5 friends under this scheme.

a. The reward will be credited to your trading account three (3) months after the 1st trade was placed on your friend’s account.

b. Rewards will be paid in the currency of your trading account, at the current conversion rate at the time of payment.

2. Your Eligibility

2.1 This Offer is only available to you if you satisfy the eligible client criteria:

a. You are the original recipient of an email or flyer from us containing this Offer; and

b. You are already a Professional client of Pepperstone EU Limited with either an active Standard or Razor account.

3. General

3.1 You and your Friend(s) must partake in this Offer in good faith. We reserve the right, at any time and in our sole discretion, to withhold any reward awarded to you, exclude you and your Friend(s) from the Offer and/or suspend or permanently terminate trading account access for you and/or your Friend(s), if you or your Friend(s):
a. breach any of these Offer Terms or our Terms and Conditions of Service;

b. engage in any actual or suspected abuse of this Offer; or

c. there is any reason to suspect that you or your Friend(s) have acted fraudulently or obtained an unfair or unintended advantage under this Offer.

3.2 Rewards cannot be transferred to another person, another person’s trading account, redeemed for cash or exchanged for other goods and services.

3.3 This Offer can only be claimed only once per household.

3.4 You can only refer a Friend once. You cannot refer yourself via a joint account, corporate account, a family member or a member of the same household.

3.5 This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Pepperstone promotion.

3.6 We reserve the right to modify, change or withdraw this Offer at any time at our sole discretion. If withdrawn, we will still honour the Offer in respect of all Rewards earned prior to the Offer being withdrawn, provided that you and your Friend(s) satisfy these Offer Terms.

3.7 You acknowledge and agree that a Reward is not an inducement to trade and we will not be liable for trading losses incurred by you or your Friend as a result of your (or their) trading or in relation to this Offer. Trading on financial instruments offered by Pepperstone involves a high degree of risk and you could lose substantially more than your initial investment.

3.8 You acknowledge and agree that the opening of a Pepperstone trading account is subject to the relevant Anti-money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing “Know Your Customer” checks and controls under the European 4th and 5th AML Directive, The Cyprus Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering Activities Law (188(I)/2007) as amended and the Directive of the CySEC for the Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, and that we cannot accept Friend referrals from jurisdictions on our banned countries list.
